Gajar Ka Halwa

Traditional Halwa made lighter retaining the delectable taste and yumminess!!
















Ingredients:

Fresh Carrots(Grated) 1 Kg,
Sugar 500 gm,
Nutmeg Powder 0.5 tsp,
Cardamon Powder 0.5 tsp,
Milk Powder 150 gm,
Milk 2 tbsp,
Chopped Dry fruits 1/4 Cup,
Ghee 2 tbsp

Method:

1. Heat ghee in a deep pan. Add grated carrots and mix well for 2 mins.
2.Add sugar, mix and allow it to cook on low flame for 15-20 mins or till the mixture starts turning dry.
3. Add milk powder and half of the chopped dry fruits and cook for 5 mins.
4. Switch off the gas once the halwa starts leaving sides of the pan.
5. Garnish with remaining dry fruits and serve hot.
