Whole Wheat Cashew Cookies
















Makes 12 Cookies

Ingredients:

Whole wheat flour- 1 cup
Powdered sugar - 3/4 cup
Ghee - 1/2 cup
Besan - 1/4 cup
Rawa - 1 tbsp
Baking Powder- 1 tsp
Elaichi Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cashews- 7-8 (Chopped)
Cinnamon Powder - 1/4 tsp
Milk- 2 tbsp

Method:

1. Slightly warm the ghee an pour it in a deep bowl.
2. Add sugar to the ghee and whisk well until it is mixed well and smooth.
3. Add wheat flour, besan,rawa,baking powder,cinnamon powder ,elaichi powder and milk to the sugar-ghee mixture.
4. Knead well till you get a smooth dough. 
5. Make 12 equal sized balls. Slightly press in the center to flatten it and give it shape. 
6.Line up a baking tray with butter paper and place the cookies evenly on the tray with some space in between. 
6.Preheat the oven for 10 mins at 120 deg. C.
7. Bake at 120 deg.C for 25-30 mins.
8. Cool completely and store in an airtight jar.
