Royal Mango Sheera
Treat yourself to this simple yet flavorful recipe. Rava and nuts lightly roasted with ghee and cooked to perfection with milk and mango pulp.
Ingredients:
Rava - 1 Cup
Sugar-3/4th Cup
Alphonso Mango - 1
Milk - 1 Cup + 2-3 tbsp more if required
Cardamon Powder - 1/2 tsp
Nuts - (Almonds, Cashews, Raisins , Pistachios) - 2-3 tbsp chopped
ghee - 4 tbsp
Method:
1. Heat a deep bottom pan and lightly roast rava and nuts. Add ghee at regular intervals and given an occasional mix with a ladle to ensure uniform roasting.
2.Cook till the Rava and Nuts mix gives out an aroma and is light brown.
3. Peel the mango and collect the pulp. Whisk it a little and add to the Rava and nuts mix.
3. Add Sugar, Cardamon Powder and Milk.
4. Cook for 10-15 mins or until done. Add a little more milk if required in between.
5. Serve Hot.
